Taking inspiration from Scottish engineer Thomas Telford, An Talla sits proudly on the banks of the Caledonian Canal, one of his best-known engineering creations.

Indeed, Telford’s legacy is woven throughout An Talla. From exclusive Scottish-made textiles inspired by the dramatic landscapes of the Highlands to a locally sourced menu. Tide has been involved right from the start.

We were commissioned to create the branding for the new destination building and complete a way-finding system including building signage.

The logo was designed as a tribute to famous Scottish Engineer Thomas Telford, who built the Caledonian Canal. The signature style matches that of Thomas Telford's own hand.

For the building signage we utilised a diverse range of materials including corten steel, cast bronze and LED light boxes.
