When visibility is key
Identity, vehicle livery and website.
The Cairngorm Mountain Rescue Team is one of the busiest teams in the UK covering a massive area that includes the Northern Cairngorms, Ben Alder and areas of the Monadhliath Mountains to the East Side of Loch Ness. This highly skilled and dedicated team of volunteers provides assistance to those who have become lost or injured.
Leaning heavily on the Gaelic legend of Am Fear Liath Mor (The Big Grey Man of Ben Macdui) and the often curious Arctic weather patterns of the High Cairngorms we have produced a contemporary identity for the team which combines their emergency role with that of the mountains’ natural beauty and heritage.
We were tasked with creating an identity that clearly illustrated the vital role that search and rescue plays in society while at the same time referencing the unique nature of these magnificent Arctic mountains of Scotland.
Tide was approached to help formulate a graphic identity for the team, one which would be highly visible in all areas of their operation from website presence to emergency vehicles and personal visibility in the most challenging of conditions.
